Terms of Rental

Fine Print Reminders

 

As a renter of The Art Room Studio, the renter receives the following from LSDC: 

  • Studio Access on at the date and time specified in the confirmation email 

  • Specific instructions for how to access the studio

  • The studio in a reasonably clean and tidy condition

  • Use of 25 folding chairs, 5 floor cushions, a space heater, clip lights, and chalk for the chalkboard

 

As a renter of The Art Room Studio, LSDC requests following from renters: 

  • The rental is confirmed upon receipt of payment in full via PayPal or check. Checks may be made out to Leah Stein Dance Company, 514 Mifflin Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148.

  • Renter must firmly close door after use, shut windows, and turn off the space heater and all lights.

  • Renters may not leave belongings in the studio. All belongings left behind will be added to the lost and found and donated after one month’s time.

  • Renters will not alter the space in any way (no painting, hammering into walls, etc.) and take full responsibility for any damage that may occur during residency dates.  

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations made up to 48 hours will require a 50% fee of the the total rental. Cancellations made after 48 hours are non-refundable.

  • Unusual supplies (soil, liquids, using fire, etc) are prohibited from being used in the Art Room.
